Marca Technologies, located in Gorham, ME, was proudly acquired by Spartek, Inc. in February 2023. As a leader in the manufacturing of custom equipment for metallizing plastics and other materials, Marca Technologies leverages its patented physical vapor deposition technology to deliver superior results. Renowned for their automated Revolution 3D vacuum metallizers with integrated coating lines and the CM40 plastic cutlery metalizing system, Marca Technologies operates a state-of-the-art 23,000-square-foot facility. This facility houses a high-speed, inline metallizing and coating production line, reflecting our commitment to innovation and excellence.
At Marca Coating Technologies, we design and manufacture all of our own tooling for the metallization of plastic parts and for everything else we build. Being a vertically integrated manufacturing facility with a rich 151-year history in manufacturing and machining equips us with the expertise to create cost-effective and efficient tooling. We manufacture tooling and part handling systems for nearly every type of plastic cap, closure, jar, and bottle used in cosmetic and beauty packaging, as well as those in the spirits industry. Our in-house mechanical design team, combined with our skilled machinists and fabricators, enables us to customize tooling on the fly, meeting our customers’ demands for high throughput and quality decorated parts.
